Galearis spectabilis (Linnaeus) Rafinesque. Showy Orchis. Phen: Apr-Jun; Jun-Jul. Hab: Rich, deciduous forests, most typically over calcareous or mafic rocks. Dist: NB and QC west to MN, south to GA and AR.
