Isotria verticillata (Muhlenberg ex Willdenow) Rafinesque. Large Whorled Pogonia, Large Five-leaves. Phen: Mar-Jul; Apr-Oct. Hab: Acidic, mesic to dry forests, less typically seeps and bogs. Dist: ME and MI south to Panhandle FL and e. TX.
