Ladeania lanceolata (Pursh) A.N. Egan & Reveal. Lemonweed. Phen: Jun-Aug. Hab: Sandy prairies, other sandy areas. Dist: ND, SK, AB, and WA south to w. IA, sc. OK, Panhandle TX, w. TX, s. NM, s. AZ, and e. CA.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Sometimes divided into infraspecific taxa; the easternmost element of the species (found on the western edge of our region) is the typic variety (infrataxon have not been recognized in Ladeania).
