Cheiroglossa palmata (Linnaeus) C. Presl. Hand-fern. Hab: Epiphytic in strand swamps and hammocks, especially in and around the leaf bases of Sabal palmetto. Dist: Peninsular FL; West Indies; Mexico (CHP, OAX), Central America, and South America; tropical Asia and scattered sites in Africa.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
