Polystachya concreta (Jacquin) Garay & H.R. Sweet. Greater Yellowspike Orchid, Yellow Helmet Orchid. Phen: (Jan-) Sep-Dec. Hab: Epiphytic in swamps, sloughs, strands, and wet hammocks. Dist: C. and s. FL; West Indies; possibly also in Mexico, Central America, and the Old World tropics, depending on the very uncertain circumscription of the species.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = Bah, FNA26, K3, K4, WH3, Brown (2002); = Polystachya luteola (Sw.) Hook. – Correll (1950), illegitimate; < Polystachya flavescens (Blume) J.J.Sm. – Luer (1975), misapplied; > Polystachya minuta (Aubl.) Britton – S, S13
