Prescottia oligantha (Swartz) Lindley. Phen: Dec-Mar. Hab: Hardwood hammocks, limestone solution holes. Dist: S. FL; West Indies; Mexico (CHP, VER), Central America and n. South America. Presumed extirpated in FL until a few plants were discovered on Long Pine Key; more populations could be found in hardwood or rockland hammocks.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = Bah, FNA26, K4, S, S13, WH3, WI, Brown (2002), Correll (1950); = Prescotia oligantha – Luer (1975), orthographic variant
