Allium mobilense Regel. Mobile Onion. Phen: Mid Apr-May; Late May-Jun. Hab: Dry woodlands, prairies. Dist: C. NC south to ne. FL and Panhandle FL, west to TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon is better treated as a species distinct from Allium canadense. The nomenclature and taxonomy within Allium mobilense needs additional research. It appears that the name Allium mutabile Michaux applies to a form of Allium canadense s.s.
