Hab: Dry to mesic upland forests and woodlands, bluffs, glade margins, stream banks, hardwood flatwoods, bottomland forests; often associated with larger rivers. Dist: MO, KS, se. CO and NM south to e. LA, TX, AZ, and n. Mexico.
