Heuchera missouriensis Rosendahl. Section: Holochloa. Subsection: Villosae. Missouri Alumroot, Interior Low Plateau Grotto Alumroot. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Shaded cliff bases, usually under overhangs, on grotto floors, nearly always in deeply shaded situations where little or no direct sunlight falls. Dist: S. IN and s. IL south through Cumberland TN to n. AL and ne. MS (Tishomingo County).
