Cardamine species 1 . Ouachita Toothwort. Hab: Mesic forests, especially stream terraces and slopes over novaculite but also shale in the Athens Plateau. Dist: Endemic to Ouachita Mountains.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Not most closely related to C. angustata and needing elevation to species status (Witsell, pers. comm., 2017).

Synonymy: = Cardamine angustata O.E.Schulz var. ouachitana E.B.Sm.; < Cardamine angustata O.E.Schulz – Ar, FNA7, K3, K4
