Height: 8-12 in.

plant sale text: Handsome grass-like leaves are attractive year-round. This southeastern native perennial makes an excellent edging plant. Try it as a foil to ferny foliage in your shade garden. This sedge is tough and easy to grow. Think of it as a dwarf ornamental grass-like plant for your shade garden. It thrives best in a moist wooded site. You can also grow it in a large container, combined with other plants. The Carex genus supports up to 36 species of lepidoptera.
