Carex leptonervia (Fernald) Fernald. Section: [26bb] Section 19 Laxiflorae. Nerveless Woodland Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Nutrient-rich forests, such as rich, seepy northern hardwoods forests. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN, south to NJ, PA, IN, and WI, and in the Appalachians south to NC and SC (L.L. Gaddy, pers.comm., 2009).
