Carex prasina Wahlenberg. Section: [26ff] Section 23b Hymenochlaenae. Drooping Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Seepage swamps, brook banks, rocky stream margins, rich forests. Dist: ME, ON, and WI south to GA, MS, and AR; in nearly all TN counties adjacent to NC and VA.
