Carex bulbostylis Mackenzie. Section: [26ee] Section 22 Griseae. Globose Sedge. Phen: Apr-May. Hab: Moist deciduous forests, prairies, open meadows, especially in calcareous areas. Dist: MS west to TX and OK; disjunct in sw. TN.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Other Comments: Reports for GA in Jones & Coile (1988) are based on misidentifications.
