Carex complanata Torrey & Hooker. Section: [26ii] Section 24 Porocystis. Hirsute Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Bottomland forests and swamps, depression swamps, drier barrens. Dist: NJ and s. PA south to n. peninsular FL and Panhandle FL, west to TX and MO; apparently disjunct in AZ.
