Carex crinita Lamarck var. brevicrinis Fernald. Section: [26r] Section 13 Phacocystis. Short-fringed Sedge. Phen: May-Aug. Hab: Swamps, wet forests, and a wide range of other wetlands. Dist: MA south to FL, west to TX, north in the interior to KY and MO.
