Crataegus ×notha Sargent (pro sp.). Mongrel Hawthorn. Phen: Apr; Sep-Oct. Hab: Gravelly hills in oak woodlands. Dist: Endemic to Hempstead County, AR; no collections since 1921 suggest this entity may be extinct.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Originally described as an assumed interserial hybrid of C. marshallii Eggleston and a member of series Molles, possibly the locally sympatric C. brachyphylla Sargent.
