Eryngium hookeri Walpers. Hooker's Eryngo. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Ditches, other wet areas. Dist: W. MS and AR west to OK and TX, perhaps recently adventive in the eastward portions of that distribution, not credited as occurring east of TX in Matthias & Constance (1945).
