Fuirena breviseta (Coville) Coville. Short-bristled Umbrella-sedge. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Carolina bays, pine savannas, ditches, other wet habitats. Dist: A Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic: se. VA south to s. FL and west to e. TX, primarily in the outer Coastal Plain.
