Taxonomy Comments: Mohlenbrock (2014) gives additional characters (of unknown utility) for separating G. arkansana from G. septentrionalis: anthers < 1 mm long in G. arkansana (vs. 1-2 mm long in G. septentrionalis), and lemmas 2.5-3.0 mm long and sharply nerved (vs. 3.5-5.5 mm long and obscurely nerved).
