Lechea prismatica Small. Prism Pinweed. Hab: Florida scrub. Dist: Endemic to c. FL peninsula.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Most authors have not recognized the name Lechea prismatica Small since its publication. It apparently differs from L. sessiliflora by its more ellipsoid-prismatic fruit to bearing 3 angles (vs. subglobose ellipsoid or oval capsules without angles).

Synonymy: = S; < Lechea sessiliflora Raf. – FNA6, K3, Hodgdon (1938)
