Primula fassettii A.R. Mast & Reveal. Jeweled Shooting-star. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Moist ledges and bluffs over calcareous rocks. Dist: WI and MN south to IL and MO; disjunct in sc. and se. PA. This species has been reported for ne. WV; those reports are in error.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: P. fassettii is sometimes considered to represent eastern disjunct populations of a western species (see synonymy, and the account in Yatskievych 2013).
