Scirpus pallidus (Britton) Fernald. Cloaked Bulrush. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Marshes. Dist: ON west to BC, south to WI, MO, TX, NM, AZ, OR. Possibly disjunct (and if so, probably introduced) in se. PA (reported by Rhoads & Klein [1993] but not by Rhoads & Block [2007]) and NJ (Kartesz [1999, 2010], with no definite county location).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy: = F, FNA23, GrPl, K1, K3, K4, Mo1; = n/a – Pa; = Scirpus atrovirens Willd. var. pallidus Britton – C, G, Tx
