ID notes:The thin, wiry stems and noticeably large, globose capsules are distinctive features of Sisyrinchium biforme in comparison to other Sisyrinchium in its distribution area.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Here recognized in a narrower sense than many recent authors, excluding Sisyrinchium dimorphum.
