*Exochorda racemosa (Lindley) Rehder. Pearlbush. Phen: Mar-Apr. Hab: Disturbed areas, woodland borders, suburban woodlands. Dist: Native of China. First reported for SC by Hill & Horn (1997) and for AL by Diamond (2014). This species appears to have substantial likelihood of increasingly naturalizing and becoming invasive.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia
