Carex bullata Schkuhr ex Willdenow var. bullata. Common name: Button Sedge. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Bog, seep, depression swamp, usually in very acidic settings. Distribution: MA south to sw. NC; disjunct westwards in c. AR.
