Carex bullata Schkuhr ex Willdenow var. bullata . Section: [26qq] Section 30 Vesicariae. Common name: Button Sedge. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Bogs, seeps, depression swamps, usually in very acidic settings. Distribution: MA south to sw. NC; disjunct westwards in c. AR.
