Carex hormathodes Fernald. Section: [26q] Section 12 Ovales. Common name: Marsh Straw Sedge. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Freshwater and slightly brackish tidal marshes, interdune ponds. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) south to ne. NC, along the coast.
