Carex joorii L.H. Bailey. Common name: Joor's Sedge, Hummock Sedge, Cypress-swamp Sedge. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Swamps, upland depression swamps in the Piedmont, sphagnous wetlands. Distribution: E. MD south to n. peninsular FL and Panhandle FL, west to e. TX, north in the interior to TN, MO, and OK.
