not marked as a favorite taxon *Carex kobomugi Ohwi. Common name: Sea Isle Sedge, Japanese Beach Sedge, Asian Sand Sedge. Phenology: Mar-Jul. Habitat: Sand dunes, especially on fore-dunes. Distribution: Native of Japan.
