Carex calcifugens Naczi. Common name: Halfsweet Sedge. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Rich bluff forests, evergreen maritime forests, rich soils over coquina limestone or shell middens. Distribution: Se. NC south to Panhandle FL.
