not marked as a favorite taxon *Carex muricata Linnaeus ssp. lamprocarpa Čelakovský. Phenology: Jun-Jul. Habitat: Fields, pastures, lawns, disturbed areas. Distribution: A European alien, with known occurrences south through New Jersey, e. Pennsylvania (Rhoads & Block 2007) Delaware and Maryland.
