Cyperus diandrus Torrey. Common name: Umbrella Flatsedge. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Interdune swales, ponds, exposed river and lake shores, usually where seasonally ponded. Distribution: ME west to ND, south to VA, c. TN, n. AL, IL, MO, and IA.
