Cyperus engelmannii Steudel. Common name: Slender Sand Flatsedge. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Alluvial and other damp to wet soils. Distribution: North-central and northeastern North America, MA west to s. ON, MN and NE, south to se. NC and MO. Distribution in our region is poorly known.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
