not marked as a favorite taxon Cyperus refractus Engelmann ex Boeckeler. Common name: Reflexed Flatsedge. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Dry sandy or rocky woodlands and forests, also in somewhat moister sites. Distribution: NJ west to OH and MO, south to SC, GA, AL, and AR.
