Cyperus schweinitzii Torrey. Common name: Sand Flatsedge. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Sandy soils. On dunes in the Great Lakes. Distribution: VT, MA, MN, and Albert, south to s. NJ, se. and sw. PA (Rhoads & Block 2007), n. KY, OH, MO, TX, NM, UT, and Mexico (CHH, COA, DGO, JAL, ZAC).
