Eleocharis engelmannii Steudel. Subgenus: Eleocharis. Section: Eleogenus. Series: Ovatae. Common name: Engelmann’s Spikerush. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Freshwater shores, marshes, disturbed wet places. Distribution: MA, ON, and BC south to GA, MS (Sorrie & LeBlond 2008), TX, and CA.
