Eleocharis rostellata (Torrey) Torrey. Beaked Spikerush. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Brackish and freshwater tidal marshes, sea-level fens; saline soils inland. Calcareous fens northward. Dist: ME, ON, and BC south to FL, TX, CA, and Mexico; West Indies. Reported for WV (Harmon, Ford-Werntz, & Grafton 2006).
