Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: See Gibbons & McMullen (2019) for detailed discussion of the E. tenuis complex.

Other Comments: Duncan 16842 appears to have been the only specimen of E. tenuis var. tenuis from Georgia, but is Eleocharis brittonii (SGW; personal annotation).
