Rhynchospora punctata Elliott. Common name: Pineland Beaksedge. Habitat: Wet pine savannas, pitcherplant bogs. Distribution: S. Georgia south to ne. Florida.

Taxonomy Comments: This is a very rare species of Rhynchospora known from a small number of collections in s. GA and ne. FL (where it is historical). The only collections from the past 20 years are from Coffee County, GA.
