Scirpus microcarpus J. Presl & C. Presl. Common name: Small-fruited Bulrush. Phenology: Jun-Jul. Habitat: Marshes. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) and NL (Labrador) west to AK, south to n. NJ, e. WV (Monongalia, Pocahontas, Randolph, and Tucker counties), KY, IL, IA, NE, NM, AZ, CA, and Mexico (BCN, DGO, OAX, SIN).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
