*Agrostis capillaris Linnaeus. Common name: Rhode Island Bentgrass, Colonial Bentgrass, Browntop. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Meadows, roadsides, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Eurasia (and possibly n. North America).
