Agrostis scabra Willdenow. Common name: Fly-away Grass, Rough Bentgrass. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Bogs, fens, seeps, meadows, old fields, other open habitats. Distribution: Throughout North America, though mainly in cooler climates (ne. and w. United States, Canada), south to s. Mexico; ne. Asia.
