Andropogon tenuispatheus (Nash) Nash. Maritime Bushy Bluestem. Phen: Aug-Nov. Hab: Maritime wet grasslands, brackish marsh edges, calcareous wet grasslands, interdune swales and ponds, seepages in limestone areas, prairies, moist disturbed sites. Dist: Se. VA and c. OK south to s. FL and c. and s. TX, south into Central America; West Indies.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Excluded from the concept of A. tenuispatheus is A. eremicus Wipff & Shaw (Wipff & Shaw 2018d), of sw. United States.
