Habitat: Maritime wet grasslands, brackish marsh edges, calcareous wet grasslands, interdune swales and ponds, seepages in limestone areas, prairies, moist disturbed sites. Distribution: Se. VA and c. OK south to s. FL and c. and s. TX, south into Central America; West Indies.
