Bouteloua hirsuta Lagasca y Segura. Common name: Hairy Grama. Phenology: Jun-Nov (-May). Habitat: Maritime grasslands (FL), pine rocklands (FL), prairies and dry grasslands (TX, OK), xeric longleaf pine sandhills (GA), disturbed areas. Distribution: WI, MN, ND, WY, NV and s. CA south to sw. LA, TX, NM, and AZ and south into Mexico; disjunct in peninsular FL and in sw. GA.
