Mnesithea tessellata (Steudel) de Koning & Sosef. Common name: Pitted Jointgrass. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Wet pine savannas and bogs. Distribution: Sw. GA and FL Panhandle west to e. LA, an East Gulf Coastal Plain endemic.
