not marked as a favorite taxon *Dinebra retroflexa (Vahl) Panzer. Common name: Viper Grass. Habitat: Disturbed areas, probably just a waif. Distribution: Native of Africa and s. Asia. This species has been collected as a waif in Mecklenburg County, NC (Mellichamp, Matthews, & Smithka 1987).
