Lorinseria areolata (Linnaeus) C. Presl. Netted Chain Fern. Phen: May-Sep. Hab: Moist to wet, acid, organic soils, such as bogs, blackwater bottomlands, pocosins, wet hammocks. Dist: NS west to MI and MO, south to s. FL and e. TX, primarily on the Coastal Plain.
