Phlox pilosa Linnaeus ssp. ozarkana . Ozark Phlox. Phen: Apr-May. Hab: Glades, savannas, woodlands, disturbed areas. Dist: MO and se. KS south through e. OK and AR to n. LA; disjunct east of the Mississippi River from c. TN south to c. GA and c. AL.
