*Eriochloa villosa (Thunberg) Kunth. Common name: Chinese Cupgrass. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Fields, meadows, other disturbed areas (open edge of railroad bed). Distribution: Native of e. Asia. See Belden et al. (2004) for additional information about the first occurrence in Virginia.
