Coleataenia rigidula (Bosc ex Nees) LeBlond ssp. rigidula. Common name: Redtop Panic Grass. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Wet sandy or peaty soils low wood, meadows, marsh, shores, swamps, ditches, often weedy. Distribution: ME and MI south to FL and TX; also in CA and BC; disjunct in Central America.
